How does AgeJET™ work?
States of matter exist as solids, liquids, and gases. Under specific situations with increased energy, there is a 4th state—matter with electrons that wander around freely among the nuclei of the atoms. It is around us every day, naturally occurring in lightning and the sun’s energy and in man-made things like neon lights and fluorescent light bulbs.

How can I prepare for the treatments?
Before any treatment, you will have an in-depth consultation with the experts at Boston Direct Health.
Two weeks before your treatment, you should avoid sun exposure. Seven days before, you should stop using exfoliants or topical treatments, including retinol and similar products. In addition, you should begin a rather advanced moisturizing routine to keep your skin hydrated.
On the day of your treatment, you should show up to the med spa with a fresh face free of makeup. Men should shave beforehand.
What can I expect during AgeJET™ treatments?
A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin of the treatment area about 30 minutes before it begins. For higher-energy treatments, an injectable local anesthetic may be required. Our experts will apply a gel to your hairline to protect your hair and eyebrows.
AgeJET™ treatment times will vary. Depending on your treatment area number and size, some treatments last as long as 5 or 10 minutes, while others require 40 to 60 minutes to treat the entire face.
What can I expect after the treatments?
Once your treatment is complete, you will notice your skin is pink or red. We will apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly to the skin. The downtime will vary depending on the strength of your treatment and how well your skin is conditioned. Some people may see a “bronzing effect,” which disappears on its own within a few days afterward. In addition, skin peeling is also possible with higher energy treatment.
Most people allow themselves 4 to 10 days of social downtime in order for their skin to heal and look more normal.
You should keep your skin moist and hydrated with petroleum jelly after treatment. You will be advised on when you can return to usual activities such as shaving and exercise.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of AgeJET™ treatments depends on your skin goals, treatment areas, and the condition of your skin. Generally, people achieve 1 to 6 treatments.
How long do the results last?
