What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

Family physician Dr. Steven Zivich of Boston Direct Health is pleased to offer radiofrequency (RF) microneedling with Morpheus8™ to Boston, MA patients. This nonsurgical therapy uses controlled heat and tiny needles to exfoliate damaged tissue and encourage the creation of collagen deep within the skin. This process prompts natural tissue regeneration to achieve firmer, tighter contours. To achieve a more youthful complexion without the need for surgery, consider RF microneedling.

How does RF Microneedling work?

RF microneedling with Morpheus8 is an outpatient treatment that is performed on-site at Boston Direct Health in Boston, MA. First, your skin will be cleaned and a numbing cream will be applied to the target area. Next, the Morpheus8 handpiece will be used to create micro-injuries in the skin while simultaneously emitting focused RF energy.

You can expect tiny, pinpoint scabs to develop after 24 – 72 hours, which will naturally shed when the inherent micro-injuries have healed. Results usually become visible after about 3 – 4 weeks. We typically recommend a series of 3 – 4 treatments spaced one month apart for the best results.
