These medications are all designed to ease pain and anxiety. Types of Pain Control Therapies

Boston Direct Health offers the following pain management therapies:

  • Nitronox: This is a gas mixture of nitrous oxide and medical oxygen. It's used to relieve pain during surgical and minimally invasive procedures.
  • Anxiolytics or benzodiazepines: These are oral anti-anxiety drugs that are used to reduce emotional stress. Some of the most common anxiolytics include Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, and Librium.
  • Topical lidocaine: This is a numbing cream that is applied directly to the skin. If you have had any adverse reactions or are allergic to lidocaine, be sure to let Dr. Zivich know.
