On the day of your appointment at Boston Direct Health, we’ll have you lie in a private treatment room as areas of your face and body are cleaned to remove oil, dirt, makeup, and lotions. Then, the Diolaze XL handpiece will be used to target unwanted hair follicles. The laser energy will destroy the follicle, preventing the hair from growing again. Typically, we recommend a series of 3 – 5 treatments spaced one month apart for the best results.

Once your session is done, you’ll be free to resume your normal activities but should refrain from direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours to let the treated areas recover. When you get home following your session, we recommend soothing creams or ice packs to alleviate any discomfort.
